- So Ok. I've tried to be as open & honest as possible
on my website. This site has ranked higher in search engines
purely on the number of people that visit looking for a wall and
floor tiler or a bathroom / kitchen fitter. Also
I get visits on this tilers / kitchen / bathroom fitters website
from people looking for work. It, well, really annoys me that I
hav'nt been able to raise anything money wise to bring this
website idea to life. I
currently have received ZERO donations through my Paypal button
& so far have ZERO revenue through my affiliate links. See
B&Q, Screw Fix & all other banners? These are all legit
affiliate links for the companies you see. I
can't get this idea off the ground without the money to finance
it. I need YOUR help to do that. As a tiler, I'm only working my
second week of the year this week. I know work is really hard to
find in the construction industry in general. I'm surprised that
only 1 person has called me (see 'contact us' page). He was
looking for work & just asked me for any ideas how to find
tiling work. I'm sad that I couldn't help him more than I did
& hope he has found some work.

- Today I look forward to the future! Today Google page rank awarded my site PR2
for all it's main pages. I see this as a positive thing for my
personnel efforts so far and personal motivation to try harder
in 2009. You can download the free Google

- My HSBC business account (Absolute Elton Solutions) is now Paypal verified. Please consider making a
small donation to help raise the £10,000 required to get www. wall and floor
tiler .co.uk up and running. I'll be using Flare Imaging
to write the script as they have good experience with data base driven websites.
All donations help, even if its just £1 or £2 as there is 'power in numbers'.
For example 2000 donations of £5 equals the £10,000 required
to get this project off the ground.

Welcome to www.wall-and-floor-tiler.co.uk! The little web / national press idea
to help wall / floor tilers and bathroom / kitchen fitters find work during
the credit crunch. As a tiler from
Reading myself I know the 'crunch' is starting to bite. I don't have the
£10,000 needed to get the full blown version of my simple idea of a
website combined with national press idea off the ground. Like
any small business idea I need funding for my site to reach it's full potential.
That's why I need sponsors. Over my Christmas break I'm
taking the time to work on driving my site higher up the search engine rankings. At least I'm
honest. It's all about 'supply & demand'. My website is definitely getting

20/11/08 - We are now up and
running and I'm starting to improve my site's SEO to get it ranking in search
engines. Estimate's for the
creation of the full version of my idea will be about £10,000
including the annual license for the Royal Mail postcode
database which costs about £3700.

customer to give a quote. This site will help potential customer's with bathroom, kitchen, conservatory or utility fitting and
wall and /
or floor tiling to find you to ask for a quote.
You will be charged a re-occurring monthly membership fee of between £10
- £15 per month with no extra fees as the customer will call you. This this fee will be pooled to pay for advertising in national newspapers
and to help get us listed nationally in the Yellow Pages and Thompson Local
phone books. My wage will come out of advertising revenue (after the setup costs
have been met) as it will be a full time job managing all aspects of this
website including the offline advertising.
